Monterey is a charming town just over 100 miles south of San Francisco. Its location at the southern end of Monterey Bay makes it a convenient stop for boats transiting down the coast. We came here after an overnight passage from San Francisco. We thought we would stay some 3-5 days. We stayed over two weeks, and loved it.
It is often said that a cruiser’s plan is written on sand, at low tide.
So, here I am writing about what we plan to do in the coming weeks. Almost just for the fun of it.
Even though we have been living in a boat, on the water, for three months now, it was only here in Monterey that we finally managed to go the beach.
Fog is quite prevalent in the US Pacific Coast, and we knew we would have to deal with it since before we started this journey. Continue reading “What the Fog ?!?”
